TheChinesegovernmenthaslaunchedanemergencyhumanitarianassistancemechanismattheearliesttimepossibletoprovideemergencyaidtothetwoquake-hitcountries.

AsofFeb.12localtime,theChinaSearchandRescueTeam,whichisunderunifiedcoordinationandcommandoftheChinesegovernment,hadfreedsixsurvivors,includingamaninhisfiftieswhowasjointlysavedbyChineseandTurkishrescuersontheafternoonofFeb.12afterfourhoursofefforts.

Sofar,theteamhassent206rescuersin13batchestoquake-hitareasinTürkiye,whosavedsixsurvivorsandfoundeightvictims.Besides,rescuersfromHongKongalsoextractedthreesurvivorsfromrubble.

Eighty-twomembersoftheteamarrivedinTürkiyeonFeb.8,localtime,tojoinearthquakereliefeffortsinthecountry.Ontheafternoonofthesameday,theyreachedAntakya,aharder-hitcityinthesouthernprovinceofHatay,Türkiye.

TheystartedworkingbeforedawnonFeb.9andextractedapregnantwomanfromthedebrisatduskincooperationwiththeirTurkishcounterparts.Later,theyfreedtwomorefemales,eventhe"Golden72hours"forrescuehadpassed.

OnFeb.10,theChinaSearchandRescueTeamsavedanotherfemalesurvivorinthecity,andtwodayslater,anadultmalewasextractedfromearthquakedebrisneartheplacewherethefourthsurvivorwasdiscovered.

Atthesametime,severalcivilChineserescueteamsalsojoinedtherescueeffortsinTürkiye.

EightearthquakereliefexpertsfromtheRescueTeamofRamunioninHangzhou,eastChina"sZhejiangprovince,arrivedinTürkiyeonFeb.8andrescuedamanandachildonthesamenight.

Adaylater,theteamextractedafamilyoffivefromacollapsedcivilhouseinthetownofBeleninHatayprovince.

TheBlueSkyRescueTeam,aChinesecivilreliefsquad,alsohas127membersonrescuemissionsintheTurkishcityofMalatya,whichisneartheepicenter.Afterdozensofhours,theysavedafemalefromtherubble.

Besides,ChineseconstructionmachinerymanufacturerZoomlion,BeijingEmergencyRescueAssociation,GreenBoatEmergencyRescueandShenzhenRescueVolunteersFederationalsosentrescuerstoTürkiye.Asof9a.m.onFeb.10,288rescuersfrom15civilChineserescueteamshadarrivedinquake-hitareasinTürkiye.

China"sfirstbatchof40,000blanketstoTürkiyeforearthquakereliefdepartedShanghaiforIstanbulonFeb.11,Beijingtime.Othersupplies,including1,000tentsandmedicalequipment,willbearrivinginthecomingdays.
